You will be given a Microscope worksheet to complete in class. It is due on Monday 4/28 before you start the lab on Monday.
Lab on Monday 4/28 - remember hair pulled back, closed toe shoes *If you have access to a lake our pond and would like to bring a sample of it in, that would be great! The fresher it is and the better. |

There are no notes for today. You will be using the classroom textbook to complete today's assignment. Chapter 6 Book Worksheet.
Oceans 5/1
During class, we will be watching this video. If you are not done, you will also need to Finish Chapter 6 Book Worksheet . Due by end of class. This video has information that can be used to answer some questions on the worksheet.
River Raisin Watershed 5/2
TLW: Determine the meaning of symbols, key terms, and other domain-specific words and phrases as they are used in a specific scientific or technical context relevant to grades 11-12 texts and topics.
Since many of you will be leaving to go to the play during this hour. You will not have notes to copy. You will have a few handouts to complete. If you need more copies of the graphic organizer we will be using, or you would like to complete it on your ipad or computer click here. They will be due Monday 5/5
Water Research Project 5/5 - 5/6
For this project you will be choosing a body of water to study. There is a handout in class that has the details of what you will need to include. This project is worth 50 points and is due Wednesday. You will be given 2 days in class to work on it.
Monday - You will be researching, so you will need to bring your iPad.
Tuesday - Please bring anything you would like to include on your poster. I will try to get small size poster board or large paper from the library for you if you need it. If you would like to use something different please feel free. You can be creative. Poster is due Wednesday.

Zones of the Oceans 5/7
Today we will start with Poster presentations, then you will have a guided notes reading on the zones of the oceans. The reading is due Thursday 5/8
Classification of shoes Lab (Dichotomous Keys) 5/8
Today you will be kicking your shoes off during class. We will organize the shoes to represent a dichotomous key. Make sure you wear clean socks!
