Spread of disease lab 5/8
We will be completing a lab where every student is going to get a test tube that contains water (body fluids). One student will get NaOH instead - they will not know who they are. This will represent one infected individual in a population. Each student will mix fluids with 4 other students to see how fast a disease can spread in a population.
If you are absent during this lab, you can earn credit by writing a one page research paper on how viruses or diseases spread in a population. CDC.gov is a good place to start your research. Make sure you include statistics in your research.
